Bebe Rexha consolidates global success with live video of “Sad Girls” in Ibiza

Bebe Rexha is living one of the most triumphant moments of her career, solidifying her hit “New Religion” as one of the dominant summer songs in the Northern Hemisphere. To crown her global success, the American singer-songwriter has released a live video of “Sad Girls,” a new partnership with French DJ and producer David Guetta, recorded directly from Ibiza.

Both songs are standout tracks from her recently released album DIRTY BLONDE, a project launched independently by EMPIRE that has earned the artist an unprecedented top spot on the Top Dance Albums chart in the United States, symbolizing a new era of total creative autonomy and control over her career.

“‘This album represents a deep exercise of confidence and autonomy. After years of intense experiences, both personally and professionally, ‘DIRTY BLONDE’ emerges as my most honest and unfiltered portrait. I’m taking ownership of my choices and contrasts with total consciousness, and it’s wonderful to be able to deliver a project made exactly the way I want,” Bebe Rexha explains.

With a career marked by both solo releases and high-profile collaborations, she continues to reaffirm her role as one of the most relevant voices in contemporary pop music. Between sold-out tours and performances at major festivals around the world, the artist continues to captivate audiences with her intensity, reflected in her new phase – recently, she delivered one of the most acclaimed performances at Rock in Rio Lisbon. By breaking free from traditional market constraints and embracing her own experiences, the star delivers a disc that is both a celebration of club culture and a vulnerable confessional.

The strength of the project is reflected in impressive numbers around the globe. With over 125 entries on Shazam and a peak of #14 on the Top 200 Global chart, “New Religion” has become one of the summer’s top hits in Europe, entering the Top 50 on Spotify in various territories, as well as prominent positions on UK, German, French, and Portuguese radio stations. Brazil is not far behind, ranking as the third-largest market globally for the song’s consumption on platforms.

The single “Sad Girls” does not lag behind, reaching the 9th spot on US Dance Music radio stations, surpassing 2.5 million weekly streams in France, achieving strong rotation in Australia and New Zealand. This warm reception directly reflected in the demand for her shows, causing tickets for her performance at the prestigious KOKO London in London to sell out in under 12 hours.
